Open Source, Free and Flexible
Mura CMS is available for download in two versions: with an installer, or just the codebase - either way you get the same features and functionality. Of course, both versions are free to use under our Open Source licensing.
- Mura CMS Installer: The Mura CMS installer is most useful if you do not have an existing CFML server on your system. If the Mura CMS installer does not detect an application server, it will give you the option to install Mura CMS with Railo and Apache Tomcat. If you do have an existing CFML server, use the Mura Standard download option instead.
Requirements: You need an installed and running database (Mura supports MySQL, MS SQL Server or Oracle 10G+). If you don't yet have a database installed, MySQL is free, open source and works great with Mura CMS.
- Mura Standard: If you have an existing CFML server, this is the version for you. Simply drop the files in the webroot of your CFML server, and you'll be guided through the setup process in just a couple minutes.
Requirements: You need a CFML application server - Adobe ColdFusion or Railo - and access to a supported database server (MySQL, MS SQL Server or Oracle 10G+). (Don't have a database installed yet? MySQL is free, open source and works great with Mura CMS.)
