How to fix search 404 error
02/29/12 11:02 AM

I read about this in another post. I'm using Greptem. When I search, the search results page shows 404 in the "heading" area.
Someone mentioned you have to set up a search-results page. Where and how do I do that?

just saw this - hope you've figured it out in the meantime...

in mine, i create a page in the regular "site manager" named something like "Site Search" (optional to get it working, but think it is better to include: i give this page a "content object" of Form->Data Collector [yoursite] - Site Search just so if someone looks at the page without coming from the header search, it has something that makes sense there)

then i make the search form submit to "/site-search/"

Hi, actually, I still have the problem. I had hoped that the folks at Mura would have offer an update but that does not seem to be coming. I understand all you said above EXCEPT the last part "then i make the search form submit to "/site-search/" how do you do that? And thanks much for the assistance!
