Hi Sean, just a suggestion: I doubt anyone really has much use for the example images provided by a theme (or has the legal right to use them). So instead of uplaoding >30MB worth of redundant stuff which risks triggering a time-out on otherwise nicely running systems, perhaps the images in the actual MURA bundle could (optionally?) be reduced to bare mininum, i.e. either a few examples only or blurred to max or whatever. A jpeg in 800x600px should not approach 1 MB in any case.

On another note: I get this error when after upping my request time-out levels to manage the 30plus MB bundle deployment:

On the Deploy Bundle site I set the options to
Are you restoring... NO
Include: Site Architecture, Form Response Data, All Plugins
Which rendering files to import: All (also tried Theme only)

I notice in your "readme.txt" file you write:

Theme select desired options, the MuraBundle file and click "update."

I am not quite sure I did that, or what exactly I need to select.

Yeah, I agree the image sizes are not ideal, however, I think people expect to see the theme as it is supposed to be and there are certain limitations that require it be the way it is. I'm open to suggestion, but that's where we are with it at the moment.

On your issue, you just need to increase the timeout request value in your app server.

Re the error

is that really related to an insufficient time out value in RAILO?

My time-out value is already at a rather experimental 9 minutes - the upload takes about 3 minutes and then it goes "bam" as above, immediately. But I am happy to set this to 20 minutes too, just don't understand how it is related to the error msg.

My selection of Deploy Bundle are all correct?

well...I thought it was. I got the same error on Railo in a shared hosting enviroment and I set it to an absurd amount like 60 mins to be sure but it deployed in just over a minute. The same exact Site Bundle and theme so I'm not sure what's happening.

We're going to add an option to ftp the bundle up and then deploy it from the server to eliminate some of the overhead in the browser...not sure if that will help but...

SORTED! Thank you - as just confirmed via email to you as well, setting it at a random high time out of over one hour made the whole thing work! I still think the error msg. is strange but have long learned not to argue with error messages and to enjoy it when it finally works :-)

So, for anyone else running into this issue - do as Sean says and increase the time out whilst deploying :-)

Note that the process only took a few seconds after the upload was complete (which took about 3 minutes maximum), perhaps MURA/RAILO just felt more happy knowing there's p-l-e-n-t-y of time left according to the settings to finish the job.
