Cross-platform flexibility
Mura goes well with just about everything
Whatever your infrastructure preferences, Mura is likely to fit in nicely. Our CFML codebase can be deployed on ColdFusion or Java application servers, and on a variety of OS choices.
Fully-cross platform browser support
Administrative users have access to the entire Mura functionality set in the browser and OS of their choice. Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome are supported in Mura, and of course, it doesn't matter if you're on a Mac, PC or even a Linux box. Mura is for everyone.
CFML Application Engines
Open Source or Commercial - it's your call. You can use Adobe's ColdFusion server, or open source servers Railo or OpenBD. Mura CMS runs great on all of them, and they each have their unique strengths.
Java Application Servers
You can deploy Mura CMS as a WAR file straight to your Java application server of choice. This setup is a particular favorite of ours, as the combination of the productivity gains from programming in CFML along with the server performance and scalability of Java is a very potent brew...
Server OS - so many to choose from...
Mura will deploy on Windows, Linux, Solaris and MacOS X - it's likely to be a perfect fit for your organization's preferred web hosting environment.
Databases - it's your call
Prefer open source? Mura runs great on MySQL. If you'd rather use Microsoft SQL Server, that's great too. Mura runs on Oracle 10G as well. It's all about choice.
